Amazon Alexa Skill: Pledge of Allegiance (US) Multiple Voice Options

Blog card for Pledge of Allegiance Alexa skill

Choose from one of five voice options to accompany you while you recite the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance.

This skill is great for both kids and adults, whether at home, school or at work. It is also great for scout meetings, holidays such as Independence Day, and even at the beginning of sporting events.

Voice options: Logan, Olivia, Jordan, Noah and Mia. Logan and Olivia are adult voices. Jordan is a genderless voice. Noah and Mia are younger voice options. A voice preference can be set.

Bugle options: on/off. A preference can be set to play a bugle just before the Pledge of Allegiance begins.

You will be asked to pick a voice and a bugle option the first time you use this skill and they will be saved as preferences for future sessions. During future sessions, you can say, “Alexa, change preferences” to change your preferences.

Here are the words:

I pledge allegiance
to the Flag
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic
for which it stands,
one Nation
under God,
indivisible,
with liberty
and justice for all.

Give it a try today!  Just say:

“Alexa, begin Pledge of Allegiance”
